About the Opportunity

Hatchit Studios is seeking experienced
Senior Project Officers
to support a federal government client in the delivery of critical ICT programs and projects. These roles will provide diverse administrative and IT-related project support, ensuring the successful delivery of inflight and upcoming initiatives across multiple areas of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and coordinate program/project activities, including schedules, budgets, reporting, and project artefacts.
  • Track, monitor, and report on deliverables, costs, and quality metrics against project plans.
  • Support project governance through secretariat services for working groups and steering committees.
  • Liaise with diverse stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Identify and manage project changes in line with established processes and standards.
  • Apply various delivery methodologies (Prince2, MSP, Agile, SAFe, Hybrid).
  • Coordinate and support procurement activities in line with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
  • Provide project and program support services in high-pressure environments, ensuring quality outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Officer on ICT projects.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, financials, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working in Federal Government (small to medium agency experience highly regarded).

Desirable:

  • Agile delivery and tools (Microsoft Azure DevOps preferred).
  • SAFe or Scrum Master qualifications.
  • Previous intelligence sector project exposure.
