We're a growing local disability and aged-care provider looking for a motivated Office Trainee to join our small, supportive team. This is an entry-level role with plenty of room to grow as your skills develop.
What you'll be doing
- Providing general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
- Answering phones & emails in a professional manner and directing enquiries appropriately
- Maintaining staff and client records to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Assisting with rosters, contracts & induction packs
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation
- Organising and maintaining office supplies and inventory
- Supporting special projects and events as required
- Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the office
What we're looking for
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written & verbal)
- Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Well-presented, reliable & outgoing personality
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous admin or clerical experience (preferred, but not essential)
- Must have valid Australian work rights
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check (mandatory for aged care work)
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Works well in a small team environment
