The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the traffic and transport industry and is studying a relevant degree. As a cadet, you will assist our project managers, engineers and planners while developing your knowledge and capabilities within a professional services firm.

You Are:

  • currently studying at university in a relevant degree(all year levels are welcome to apply)
  • passionate about the traffic and transport industry
  • ready to be challenged to develop real-world career skills
  • seeking a paid work experience opportunity
  • interested in working on a variety of projects at national, state and local levels
  • motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and time management skills
  • able to effectively manage your time to study and work
  • able to attend site inspections (including occasional overnight trips and travel by plane)
  • competent with Microsoft Office software(particularly Word and Excel)
  • eligible to work in Australia and hold a driver's licence

You Will

  • work in a collaborative team environment to deliver projects
  • be supported, mentored and encouraged to gain experience in all areas of the business
  • contribute to project investigations and prepare reports
  • gain experience with analysing and modelling transport problems using industry software
  • learn to convey complex information visually using mapping and drafting software
  • step away from your desk and accompany project managers and engineers on site inspections
  • get to know our team through marketing and business activities and also fun social events
  • learn our Quality Management and WHS Systems
