Join our dynamic team at Transport and Main Roads (TMR) as an Advisor in Temporary Traffic Management Systems and take the opportunity to shape Queensland's transport networks. The Temporary Traffic Management Systems team leads efforts to improve safety for workers and road users at road worksites. In this role, your key responsibilities include the coordination and management of TMR's Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and licensed training programs, conducting audits to verify compliance with training strategies, leading working groups to enhance training resources, and managing projects geared towards improving road safety. To succeed in this rewarding position, you should exhibit strong interpersonal skills required for engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, interpret policies and legislation with a critical eye, and demonstrate an adaptive and innovative mindset for continuous improvement. Organisational skills and a goal-oriented approach are also vital to meet the objectives of the team. Your decision-making capacity should be grounded in ethical practices, and you should be comfortable navigating change and stimulating creative solutions for desired outcomes.
