About The Role
The
Production Shift Supervisor
role is a
Full-time
position, based at
Wetherill Park, NSW.
Reporting to the
Manufacturing Manager
at our
24/7
operational
Cemintel
manufacturing site
.
You will be working on our 12-hour rotating roster (Day 6am-6pm, Night 6pm-6am) assisting in monitoring and organise equipment, staff, and processes on a production floor.

Ideally, the successful applicant will be required to have experience in a leadership role, have good attendance and have a strong awareness and regard for health, safety and the environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
• Contributes to lean production principles through plant housekeeping standards and ensuring employees align to KPIs.
• Monitor weekly consumable stock takes, production consumables, and contractors.
• Participating in weekly consumable stock takes and report levels to Inventory & Yard Supervisor weekly.
• Manage a team of production Operators and ensure strong collaboration, continued professional development and high performance.
• Confer with Customer Service / Inventory on production scheduling to maximise plant efficiency, product development, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to coordinate materials and resources for production tasks.
