We are currently seeking a Centre Director at SDN Hurstville Preschool to lead a dynamic early learning environment where creativity, growth, and development are at the heart of everything we do.

About the role:

  • Leading with Purpose – Create and nurture an environment where both children and educators thrive.
  • Managing Day-to-Day Operations – Oversee all aspects of the centre's daily activities, from staffing to curriculum implementation.
  • Supporting and Developing Your Team – Mentor and motivate educators to bring out their best, fostering a collaborative, positive culture.
  • Ensure High-Quality Education – Implement long day care and pre-school innovative, child-centered programs that meet the needs of every child.
  • Build Strong Relationships – Connect with families and the community, ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment for all.

About you:

  • Leadership experience in early childhood education (Centre Director, Assistant Director, or similar roles).
  • A passionate advocate for children's safety and quality education, with a strong understanding of developmental stages.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to excellence in both education and care.
  • A Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.

SDN Hurstville Preschool is a warm, community-focused, not-for-profit early learning centre offering extended hours care (Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm) for up to 39 preschool-aged children, creating a close-knit and supportive environment for both educators and families.
