Sick of working in the service sector, and looking for something that will help build your professional career? If you are a 2nd year or later student, or recent graduate you might qualify to join an exciting start-up in Canberra.

You must have the desire to work, have excellent English language skills, and be self-motivated. We are looking for people who have some education, and lots of passion, in our key areas.

We hope to have multiple casual roles in some of the following professional areas:

  • Urban planning (statutory or strategic planning, or urban design)
  • Data and analytics, data science, applied AI (LLM and agentic), business intelligence (Excel, Python, R, PowerBI, PostgreSQL)
  • Web development (front end, back end, UX/design)
  • Economics, econometrics, finance.
  • Public policy, political science.

What will set you apart is:

  • Data literacy.
  • Research and writing skills, and an ability to use AI to support research (not as end in itself)
  • The ability to communicate an idea, work with a team, and follow instructions.

We have experience working with internship programs, and are comfortable with assisting students where their skills are a good mix.
