Join MEGT as a Receptionist - Business Trainee

Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a career in the Business Industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for a Trainee in two locations Lewisham & Ultimo, NSW

About the role:

This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:

  • Deliver exceptional client service through face-to-face, phone, and written communication while managing appointments and patient records.
  • Handle reception and administration tasks including appointment scheduling, diary management, payments, and processing Medicare/private health claims.
  • Support clinical staff by managing patient correspondence, referrals, and follow-ups to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Contribute to clinic success through referrer engagement, relationship-building with community partners, and assisting with general clinic and equipment maintenance
  • Work between two clinic locations in Lewisham and Ultimo

What we're looking for - Skills & Experience

  • Strong customer service background with confidence in face-to-face interactions and building positive relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage warmly and professionally.
  • Highly organised, able to manage appointments, priorities tasks, and complete admin efficiently.
  • Comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Drive, Gmail) and quick to pick up new systems.
  • A proactive team player with a welcoming attitude who takes initiative to support smooth clinic operations.

This host employer is a multi-clinic allied health business located in Sydney's Inner West and Ultimo. They provide high-performance sports medicine and sports science to all patients.
