About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dental Chair-side Nurse to join our dynamic team at DR Dental South Yarra clinic. This part-time (leading to full time) role is crucial in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Chair-side Nurse & Hygiene Assistant, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, contributing to the overall success of the practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the senior clinician during cosmetic/reconstructive procedures and ensuring a clean and organised work environment
  • Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments according to infection control protocols
  • Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary materials and supplies are readily available
  • Providing exceptional customer service by welcoming patients, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive patient experience
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualification as a Dental Chair-side Nurse (Cert 3)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently
  • Proficient in maintaining patient records and adhering to infection control protocols
  • A caring and empathetic attitude, with a genuine commitment to providing high-quality patient care
