About the position

The Client Services Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Capital team to grow the firm's funds under management across clients, prospects and intermediaries. The role is designed to deliver a consistently positive investor experience, foster enduring client relationships and uphold the firm's reputation for excellence.

This position is responsible for building trusted relationships with investors, understanding their needs and aligning them with the firm's products and services. The Client Services Associate will drive investor due diligence processes, provide operational support for capital raising initiatives and contribute to the development of high-quality collateral, including presentations and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

Key responsibilities

Assisting with Investor relationships and communications

  • Being the key contact for investors from onboarding stage (e.g. to arrange AML/KYC checks and support the operational onboarding of investor accounts) through the full client life cycle
  • Support the successful resolution of all operational and administrative matters of issues identified by clients, their consultant or custodian bank and administrator
  • Partnering with Marketing on financial and strategic messaging to the investor community
  • Engaging with and follow up of investors regarding KYC/AML compliance and administrative matters
  • Assist with the preparation of questionnaires from Platforms, which require regular attention and updating
  • Ensuring compliance with investor reporting requirements in terms of accurate content and timely delivery
  • Collate, document and respond to investor queries in a structured and efficient manner
  • Partner with Capital and Investment teams to prepare and finalise portfolio review materials, pitch books, webinars and tailored investor communications
  • Manage capital raisings/ sell down transactions in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and the firm's administrator

Managing investor due diligence (DD) process

  • Manage large volume of responses to new investor DD requests across Qualitas Group
  • Assist with the requests for regular DDQ updates for existing clients
  • Coordinate onsite Investor site visits
  • Liaise with consultants and research houses to prepare and maintain submissions that support favourable ratings and recommendations

Assist to design and deliver an Investor Relations strategy

  • Research changing investor trends across all jurisdictions that Qualitas is focusing on and preparing market analysis
  • Work with the Capital team's Heads & Directors (Private, Institutional, Wholesale) in developing target investor lists for different products
  • Tracking investor feedback for the various strategies via either Excel or Salesforce to guide future engagement
  • Update CRM system to maintain client records and related activities as well as utilise the system to optimal functionality

What you'll bring to the role

  • Experience (5+ years) in investor relations/client services/client relationship management with a strong understanding of funds management at a retail and institutional level
  • Relevant tertiary/post-graduation education qualifications (minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills coupled with strategic and commercial acumen
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy on work deliverables
  • Effective team player with strong verbal and written communication skills, underpinned by accountability
  • Proven ability to build and sustain cooperative relationships with stakeholders, supported by interpersonal strengths and a client-centric approach
  • Reliable professional who consistently meets demanding reporting cycles and deadlines while maintaining high performance standards
