Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Visiting Medical Officer in Interventional Radiology to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.

We are looking for a Visiting Medical Officer in Interventional Radiology. The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality specialty services in Interventional Radiology (IR), and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Radiology Department and Hospital as required.

The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

Medical practitioner, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) with recognised qualifications in Interventional Radiology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.

Position/s are currently available. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from the beginning of the 2026 Clinical Year on 2 February 2026, may be considered.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
