The Royal Oak in Double Bay is a much-loved Eastern Suburbs institution, blending classic pub charm with a modern edge. Known for our warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious pub fare, The Royal Oak is the place where locals gather for everything from a casual drink to a night out with friends.

Our menu celebrates timeless classics alongside fresh, seasonal dishes, all prepared with care and attention to quality ingredients. Whether it's a weekday lunch or a busy Saturday night, we pride ourselves on delivering great food and a great experience every time.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Have a passion for quality food, produce, and service excellence
  • Be reliable, punctual, and hard-working
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Adhere to kitchen procedures and WHS standards
  • Have sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Be available to work a mix of nights and weekends
  • Have Australian working rights
