About the Role

NES is growing and we have opportunities for experienced Condition Monitoring Technicians, trade professionals, or people who have mine site experience to join our team. We pride ourselves on our depth of experience and expertise across our teams, and can provide a supported learning environment for those seeking a career change, as well as the ongoing development of experienced trades professionals.

We have opportunities for permanent, full-time roles within our Western Condition Monitoring Team, based out in Mudgee, where you will be hands-on, and working closely with our clients to provide exceptional customer service and deliver outstanding results. This opportunity is based in our Western Region office in Mudgee, NSW, and will require someone with flexibility to, on occasions, travel across the Hunter Region and greater Western NSW if required.

About You

Ideally, you will have exposure to, or an appreciation for Condition Monitoring activities such as predictive maintenance and diagnosing problems with a desire to pursue this as a long-term career. Experience within a maintenance department or workshop facility, working on machine overhauls is highly desirable.

Ideal qualifications to be successful in this role include Trade qualifications (Mechanical/Fitter), VCAT Level 2 or 3, Thermography Level 1 or 2, Laser Alignment and Oil Analysis experience. On-the-job learning can be provided for the right candidate.

Essential Requirements

• Be motivated, with a keen interest in working with a range of complex equipment along with a passion for diagnostics and problem solving.
• A genuine team player, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Have strong organisational and planning skills and be proficient in the use of relevant technology or have a willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated understanding and implementation of Work Health and Safety practices.
• An Australian Driver's licence required to perform the duties of this role.
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a National Police Check and an Order 43 Mining Medical to a satisfactory standard prior to commencing.

This role provides ongoing development and upskilling opportunities, and we can provide support to obtain further certifications or qualifications as required.
