Due to the continued growth at Ballina Toyota and strong customer demand a position has become available for an Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
  • Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles.
  • Diagnose and Repair the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
  • Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
  • Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.
  • Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values.
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic
  • Must hold a current driver's licence with the ability to drive manual and automatic.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with quality workmanship and an eye for detail
  • Previous dealership experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Road worthy and air conditioning tickets are desirable
