About the Role

In this role you will be a part of the Corporate Finance team. You will have a key focus on onboarding new clients and the settlement of campaigns upon their close. You will project manage all corporate campaigns from start to finish – and work closely with the Corporate, Sales, Marketing and Settlements Teams. You will also project manage the ongoing Investment Management area of our model – working closely with our Analysts, Settlement and Marketing teams.

You will have exposure and responsibility across the scope of our corporate finance campaigns with our clients.

This is a full-time permanent and in-office role, we are based on Collins Street Melbourne CBD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Project Manage the process for corporate onboarding and final settlement of investment campaigns

• Take full campaign logistical responsibility

• Schedule, plan and run effective daily and weekly meetings/project meetings within Corporate Team

• Proactively and constantly ensure understanding of end-to-end process for each campaign.

Ensure campaigns are running smoothly by:

• Operating to a process / checklist taking responsibility to alleviate pressure

• Move things through the stages of project

• Check processes off as they are completed

• Follow up on things that need to be done to a deadline

Oversee the ongoing investment management workflow including:

• Ongoing due diligence for companies

• Ensuring regular investor updates are being provided

• Overseeing settlements and distribution

• Briefing in risk and governance matters

Skills & Experience

• Commercial / Corporate exposure is required –corporate/investment banking experience will be favorable

• Have worked in an environment with exposure to Project Management, Corporate Banking or Events Management

• Demonstrated experience in working in fast-paced and high pressure environment

• You are a proactive self-starter who can demonstrate experience working autonomously in a project-based role/environment

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Demonstrated stakeholder management experience

• Have worked in a corporate environment

• Can schedule, prepare, and run regular meetings with stakeholders at different levels

• You have keen interest in understanding companies and how they work

• Experience in or demonstrated interest in Corporate Finance, Investing or the Stock market
