Food and Beverage Manager
At Ovolo, we don't just follow trends — we set them. Over the years, we've grown exponentially in size and confidence by being bold, creative, and unapologetically different. We zig when others zag. We create moments guests will never forget. And now, at Ovolo The Valley, we're looking for a Food & Beverage Manager who can bring that same energy, vision, and passion to life.
Your Role
This is not your average Food & Beverage gig. Your job is to have your finger on the pulse, innovative, hands-on, and able to effortlessly translate the Ovolo F&B direction into reality. You'll rally your team behind a unified vision and deliver experiences that embody everything Ovolo stands for.
Not only will you lead the daily operation of our restaurants, bars, and venues, but you'll also oversee the launch of our new conferencing concept and rooftop pool, setting the tone for what's next in Brisbane's F&B scene.
The Gig
- Imagine, spearhead, and take full ownership of F&B operations and initiatives.
- Lead from the front — be visible, hands-on, and a true weapon in service.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership to elevate the guest journey across every outlet.
- Oversee budgets, staffing, and operational standards while ensuring financial performance.
- Set expectations, hold leaders accountable, and inspire service excellence.
- Deliver revenue growth through innovation, activations, and unforgettable events.
- Keep an eye on competitors and industry trends to keep us ahead of the game.
- Reports directly to the General Manager.
About You
You're not traditional in thought , you're a thought leader who can conduct, shape, and evolve our F&B offering into something that becomes a destination in its own right.
- Known around town as one of Brisbane's hottest F&B leaders.
- Proven experience in top-class beach club, restaurant, or multi-outlet venues (large venue experience essential).
- Entrepreneurial, innovative, and commercially sharp, you get P&Ls, budgets, and strategy.
- Obsessed with customer service and brand experiences.
- Natural coach, trainer, and motivator and you bring out the best in your team.
- Deadline-driven, results-focused, and relentless about standards.
- Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech and numbers savvy: Microsoft Office, reporting systems, and financial management.
Why Ovolo?
At Ovolo, we care about our people, our guests, and our world. Whether it's through our mental health and wellbeing programs, our commitment to sustainability, or our work with charities that change lives — every small step makes a big impact.
Apply Now
This is your chance to lead, innovate, and make your mark at one of Brisbane's most exciting lifestyle hotels. If you're ready to hit the ground running, love a challenge, and want to shape something extraordinary, we'd love to hear from you.
