LV Dohnt & Company is a proud industry leader in the forestry and timber harvesting sector, with decades of experience delivering reliable, sustainable, and safe services across South Australia and Victoria. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stores/Procurement Officer to join our team at our Nangwarry depot.

About the Role:

As a key part of our operational team, the Stores/Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing supplies, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store and procurement processes. You'll play a critical role in supporting our maintenance teams and field operations through the timely and efficient supply of parts, tools, and consumables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock levels and inventory accuracy
  • Source and purchase parts, equipment, and consumables in line with operational requirements
  • Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate pricing where appropriate
  • Receive, inspect, and store deliveries in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement and procurement activities
  • Support the maintenance team with parts identification and supply
  • Ensure workplace health and safety standards are upheld in the store area

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar stores or procurement role (experience in mechanical, transport or forestry industries highly regarded)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Sound computer skills (experience with inventory or procurement software preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver's licence
