Summary:

Responsible for providing swimming lessons and ensuring the safety and well-being of participants. This role requires excellent communication skills, an understanding of swimming techniques, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to various age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct swimming lessons for individuals or groups, focusing on stroke development, water safety, and overall swimming skills.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment by enforcing pool rules and maintaining constant supervision during lessons.
  • Evaluate participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their swimming abilities.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns or provide updates on progress.

Qualifications:

  • Active swimming Instructor certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with participants of all ages and skill levels.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching swimming to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate participants' schedules.
