The Position
Southside Truck Centre is currently seeking applications for Spare Parts Interpreter to join our Lismore team. We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, customer-focused team player to join our parts department.
This is a Monday-to-Friday role with a rotating on Call and Saturday roster. The position offers outstanding career growth and job security with a strong and growing independent family-owned business. As a successful candidate, you will join an established and highly respected dealer. You will have to be passionate about our brands and delivering a class-leading customer service experience.
You will be at the forefront of the automotive industry, promoting parts and accessories for our brands. With the right attitude towards success and a willingness to form part of the Southside Truck Centre Team, you will surely achieve great things in this role.
Duties

Interact with customers and internal staff to assess spare parts requirements.

Assist customers in selecting and ordering the correct spare parts for their trucks.

Provide accurate pricing and availability information for parts.

Manage and organise inventory levels.

Process orders efficiently and accurately, prioritising urgent requests.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Collaborate closely with the service and sales teams to deliver seamless support to customers.
Selection Criteria

Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter.

Automotive/Mechanical knowledge is advantageous.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Confident computer skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Ability to upsell parts and accessories.
