As we continue to build our teams into an anticipated successful growth period, we are seeking an experienced Manager for our AC and HVDC team to join our existing Global Support Head Office in Spring Hill, Brisbane. We are open to exploring both the national and international candidate market, with relocation and business sponsorship on offer for the right candidate.

Who are we seeking:

Manager in AC and HVDC Transmission with demonstrated experienced in:

  • Leading and inspiring a technical team from the front
  • Technical and consulting engagements
  • Power transmission and distribution
  • HVDC, FACTS and High Voltage AC Systems
  • Operation and maintenance of high voltage, HVDC and FACTS projects and facilities
  • Monitoring and managing revenue and utilisation targets
  • Technical, commercial and financial considerations of engineering consultancy
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills, coupled by an approachable work style to support a positive and balanced mentoring relationship with less experienced engineers

Essential requirements:

  • Strong understanding in electrical engineering and high voltage elements of transmission and distribution, HVDC and FACTs, solar, renewable energy, battery storage, micro grid and "hybrid" network projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with project management and delivery of successful outcomes
  • Hold or have the ability to attain local Professional Registrations/ Certification
