We are looking for a Professional HVAC-R Refrigeration Technician to join our talented and motivated Team, as a permanent full-time employee.

You will be involved in the maintenance, repairs and installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in both residential and commercial environments, and also Refrigeration cool-rooms, Freezer rooms and display Cases. We install and maintain standard DX systems with r134a, r404a, we also conduct supermarket work with Sub-critical and Trans critical C02.

You will work independently and also as part of a team. Port Adelaide based office, Thermodynamic Services provides HVAC-R services to residential and commercial markets.

Your duties will include:

Repair, service and maintenance of HVAC-R equipment.

Fault diagnosis

Preparation of site diagnostic reports for servicing and replacement

Quoting on breakdown repairs and system replacements

Removal and replacement of HVAC-R equipment.

Handover and commissioning of newly installed HVAC-R equipment.

Supermarket installations.

To be considered for this role you will have:

Excellent working techniques and hand skills

A good understanding of HVAC systems and controls (TC02 training will be provided)

Current Refrigeration Handling Licence (ARC)

Current Restricted (or above) Electrical Licence

Current "C" class SA drivers' licence

Construction White Card

Experience in commercial & residential ducted systems

VRF/VV experience

Excellent diagnostic skills or have a desire to learn more

Ability to:

Assess and estimate requirements for repairs

Assess system capabilities to suit operating conditions

Work autonomously but also be a team contributor

Basic tools, Specialist trade specific tools will be provided i.e Oxy/Acet, Vac pump and reclaim unit.

Good communication and people skills

Understanding of customer requirements and how to meet or exceed them

Desire to succeed and continually improve your skills and knowledge

Neat presentation

Pride in yourself and your work
