Hutchies is seeking a motivated and experienced Site Foreman to join our committed Townsville team for a $10 million project based in Mount Isa. This is a 12-month opportunity, with the potential for ongoing permanent employment to be reviewed following the commencement of the project.

# ResponsibilitiesAs a Site Foreman, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the site workforce
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
- Monitor project progress and maintain schedules
- Conduct site inspections and address issues as they arise
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements
- Oversee the quality of workmanship and materials used on-site
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports and site diaries
- Plan and manage works to meet safety, quality, program, and budget objectives
- Review and improve Work Method Statements prior to execution
- Complete any required permits to work
- Communicate effectively with the workforce on project matters
- Provide leadership and guidance to Tradespersons and Leading Hands
- Ensure delivery aligns with drawings and specifications
- Manage rectification of any construction defects
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the respective field for this role
- 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of market conditions, construction techniques, and industry standards
- Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
- Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
- A down-to-earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
