Current Project

Our flagship development at Mount Gravatt is a 55-unit, 8-level residential building with two basement levels. The structure features reinforced concrete, architectural façade systems, and high-end finishes — a project that will challenge and reward a hands-on leader who can deliver results through strong site coordination and team management.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on-site delivery, overseeing all construction activities from structure through to completion.

You'll work closely with the Director and Project Management team to plan, manage, and drive performance across all trades, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and to Jarl's high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day on-site construction activities
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour
  • Oversee construction programs, sequencing, and productivity
  • Enforce WHS, Quality, and Environmental compliance (ISO standards)
  • Conduct daily site meetings, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
  • Work collaboratively with the CA and engineering teams to resolve design and site issues
  • Drive quality outcomes and ensure workmanship standards are maintained
  • Mentor site staff and contribute to a positive, solution-focused culture

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager or Senior Foreman on multi-storey residential or commercial projects ($10M +)
  • Solid understanding of concrete structures, building services, and finishing trades
  • Proven ability to manage programs, budgets, and subcontractor performance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Trade background or tertiary qualification in Building/Construction Management (preferred)
  • Current QBCC Supervisor or Builder Licence
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
