Right now, we're seeking motivated Cleaners to join our Food & Domestic Services team, helping us maintain the highest standards of hygiene and service across our facilities.

As a Hospital Cleaner, you'll play a key part in maintaining hygiene and infection control standards across our facilities. Your tasks will include:

• Cleaning patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces to a high standard
• Proper handling and disposal of waste, including biohazardous materials
• Supporting infection control by following strict cleaning protocols
• Assisting with other domestic duties as required to ensure a smooth-running facility

A variety of Shift times are available. You must be available to work Weekends, Public Holidays and evenings.

Our staff have access to supportive mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check prior to commencement. Staff are rotated across rosters. Nights, Weekend and Public holiday work is required.

Essential:

• Understanding of confidentiality and infection control practices
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Physical ability to undertake cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods

Desirable:

• Previous cleaning experience, particularly in healthcare or aged care
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and waste disposal
• Familiarity with hospital-grade cleaning protocols
