Position Overview:- Position Title: Futsal/Soccer Coordinator
- Workload: Part Time
- Hours per Week: 26 hours per week (inc. Thursday and Friday 1:30-3:10pm)
- Employment Basis: Permanent
- Anticipated Start Date: 19 January 2026 (Term 1)
As the Futsal/Soccer Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant sporting culture at St Andrews Lutheran College. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality futsal and soccer programs, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for students of all skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and deliver futsal and soccer training sessions and competitions
- Support teachers and coaches in resource preparation and event setup
- Maintain sporting equipment and facilities to ensure safety and readiness
- Manage team registrations, schedules, and communication with families
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider College community
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and the College's values through all activities
- Assist with College sporting events and represent the College at inter-school competitions
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating or coaching futsal/soccer programs
- Strong organisational skills, including equipment management and event planning
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Competence in using Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new technologies
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive sporting environment
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage tasks under pressure
- Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the College, supporting its mission and community life
