About the role

Rollco is a proud member of the largest privately owned steel distribution group in Australia. We are a specialised steel processing company focusing on cold roll bending and pressing of sectional and plate steel. Since 1981, we have been servicing the Australian steel industry from our purpose-built factory in Revesby, which houses some of the largest and most advanced machinery in the country.

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity while minimising waste in time, materials, and consumables.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate and set up plate rolling and press brake machines
  • Work with overhead travelling cranes (training provided if required)
  • Read and interpret basic drawings and specifications
  • Maintain safe and efficient machine operation at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Plate Roller or Press Brake Operator
  • Knowledge of operating overhead travelling cranes (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and safety focus
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Reliable, motivated, and proactive attitude
