Stratum Accountants Pty Ltd - a Professional accountant & Tax consultant, having a solid client base made up of a diverse mix of SME and large businesses, offers a full business advisory including Taxation, Accounting, Tax planning and consulting services. As a Senior Accountant – Business Services, nominee will manage client portfolio assigned to you with regular client contact and will be responsible to provide complete range of services listed below:

  1. Manage and supervise the junior accountants in the preparation of accounts, tax returns, Business Activity Statements, FBT, and other compliance matters for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts.

  2. Planning, preparation and execution of financial statements with appropriate note disclosures

  3. Liaising with the ATO and other government departments

  4. Conducting tax interviews with clients & preparing tax returns for Individual and Business: Companies, Partnerships, Super Funds and Trusts

  5. Liaising with clients and assisting them to meet their accounting and tax obligations.

  6. Providing solutions to our clients on current business and financial conditions

  7. Providing accounting services including month end close, processing relevant journals, balance sheet, intercompany processing, revenue analysis and statutory accounts production.

  8. Working closely with clients in different industries and sectors as well as colleagues to provide exceptional clients services.

  9. ASIC report & compliances

  10. Contribute towards process improvement and implementationand ensure client confidentiality and privacy

Essential requirements:

  1. A bachelor's degree in commerce or business with accounting major from an Australian University or similar

  2. CA/CPA preferred but not essential

  3. 4 years' experience in providing compelling client experience for your portfolio of clients.

  4. Experience in leading the delivery of high quality and robust strategic advisory services with a high level of independence and autonomy

  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in person.

  6. Knowledge and experience with a Windows based computer system preferred.

  7. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
