Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable IT/OT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments.
• Lead systems integration across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments.
• Administer and optimise virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Configure, maintain, and enhance network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
• Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity measures (zero-trust, IAM, SIEM, malware/antivirus).
• Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Manage M365 environments (Entra ID, Intune, Teams) and user access controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership and clear documentation.
• Support end-users with Level 2/3 technical issues and deliver training where required.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar IT systems engineering role.
• Strong technical expertise in:
• Windows & Linux server environments
• Enterprise networking (routing, switching, VLANs, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, IaaS, containers, DevOps pipelines)
• Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Solid understanding of security frameworks (IAM, SOC, SIEM, penetration testing).
• Experience integrating IT with OT systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (preferred).
• Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, CCNP/CCIE, VMware Certified Advanced Professional, AWS Solutions Architect) are highly regarded.
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) will be highly regarded.
• This role may require occasional work outside of standard business hours to provide support to our global customer base, including US-based customers.
