About the Role

As the Construction Coordinator – E&I, you'll oversee contractor teams, ensure technical compliance, and act as the key liaison between the client, engineering service providers, and site teams. You'll ensure all electrical and instrumentation works meet safety, quality, and operational standards throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate E&I contractor groups.
  • Ensure compliance with client standards and WHS legislation.
  • Provide technical governance and oversight of electrical packages.
  • Act as the client's Responsible Person (RP) for E&I scope.
  • Manage permits, worksite access, and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor progress against schedule and budget.
  • Support QA/QC processes and validate ITP/ITR documentation.
  • Lead hazard risk assessments and scope change management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • WA "A Grade" Electrical Licence (essential).
  • Instrumentation trade certificate (highly desirable).
  • HV Switching & Hazardous Area Training (desirable).
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management (preferred).
  • 10+ years in E&I roles, 5+ years in supervisory/coordinator roles.
  • Mining or heavy industry experience (essential).
