Your Opportunity
As The Planning And Reporting Coordinator, You Will
- Coordinate and develop a range of planning and reporting processes, templates and resources.
- Collect, collate and assess a range of information for the development of corporate reports including the Public Provider Quarterly Progress Reports, TAFE Queensland Operational Plan Quarterly Report and Annual Report, which are submitted to the TAFE Queensland Executive, Board and Minister.
- Provide high level administrative support to the team including document collation, analysis and proofreading.
- Maintain effective and efficient liaison with internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to team activities to enhance the quality and consistency of planning and reporting.
This position reports to the Manager, Planning and Reporting.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity, unless otherwise determined.
The position will be based primarily at Mount Gravatt however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of a state-wide planning and reporting framework to ensure TAFE Queensland effectively conducts its business and continuously improves its product and service quality.
- Collect, collate, proof and assess information to support the development of quarterly and annual reports.
- Assist with developing, building and analysing a broad range of performance reports using reporting tools and resources (including the TQ BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and other relevant programs).
- Provide advice on the usage of corporate reporting systems and liaise with a range of staff to maintain effective communications.
- Provide support services to the team including arranging/coordinating research, preparing and/or coordinating agenda papers, reports, briefing papers and minutes and following up of action items.
- Contribute to improvement in business processes and practices by encouraging an environment where high quality work is achieved and is supported by the development and adherence to quality systems.
- Undertake other duties as requested by the Manager, Planning and Reporting as required.
How You Will Be Assessed
The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
- Demonstrated ability in undertaking duties of a planning and reporting nature including working within the framework to provide a quality service to a variety of stakeholders across all levels.
- Possess well developed interpersonal and written skills, including a demonstrated ability to prepare complex documents such as briefing papers, reports and correspondence.
- High-level of competency in a range of Microsoft 365 applications.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, schedule and perform work to achieve successful outcomes within strict deadlines and confidential environments.
Highly Desirable Requirements
- High level proficiency in the range of Microsoft 365; and
- Demonstrated knowledge or use of Technology One's Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system, TAFE Queensland's official recordkeeping system, is desirable.
