Mercedes-Benz Unley is seeking a motivated and technically experienced Assistant Service Manager to help lead our high-performing service department. In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to drive workshop productivity, support a skilled team, and deliver exceptional customer service. What you'll do

• Assist with the leadership of a team of service advisors, workshop, and administrative staff in all facets of the day-to-day operations of our service department
• Hands on, assistance with advising, customer check in, queries and problem solving
• Enhance workshop productivity and efficiencies
• Conduct daily service KPI reports from the ERA system for productivity, efficiencies, gross profit from labour sales etc.
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Conduct regular toolbox meetings
• Resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally
• Drive a strong safety culture in the Workshop

What you bring

• In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, with practical experience in service operations and workshop flow
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with the Service Manager whilst supporting and guiding the Service team.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities to manage daily service activities efficiently
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining high standards
• Confident in liaising with technicians, management, customers and contractors
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Proficient in computer systems and workshop software
• Holds a current driver's licence
