About the role

The Strategic Partnerships, Projects and Governance Lead is a pivotal role responsible for managing LabNext70's activities within relevant governance frameworks and driving the development and management of strategic partnerships and major projects. You will provide expert advice on governance matters, conceptualise and implement high-level professional and administrative policies, and lead significant program development to advance LabNext70's strategic objectives in AI innovation and educational transformation. The role requires significant high-level creative planning, management of resources, and strategic leadership to ensure alignment with the University's strategic direction.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated pedagogical expertise to inform academic governance.
  • Professional experience in governance, strategic partnership development, or senior management within complex organisations.
  • A track record of building and nurturing successful partnerships across industry, government, and community sectors that deliver tangible outcomes.
  • Expert understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements, with the ability to translate these into practical policies and procedures.
  • The strategic vision and practical skills to design and implement major initiatives that require high-level planning, stakeholder engagement, and resource management.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, enabling you to negotiate effectively, build consensus, and lead teams toward shared goals.
