Providing specialist Domestic Violence Support Services, the Women's Shelter Armidale offers high-quality, client-centred support tailored to the unique needs and choices of each client.

Role Description

This is a volunteer role located in Armidale, NSW, for a Board Director at Women's Shelter Armidale Inc. The Board Director will oversee organizational governance, contribute to strategic planning, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage financial performance, participate in fundraising activities.

Responsibilities include attending board meetings, participating in decision-making processes, and supporting the organisation's mission of empowering women and combating domestic violence.

Qualifications

  • Experience in governance and strategic planning
  • Financial management and regulatory compliance skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to the mission of supporting women and combating domestic violence
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
