This position is based at our rapidly expanding Manufacturing facility is based in Morgan Park, Qld, only 2 hours from Brisbane and 1 hour from Toowoomba. The expansion of our Morgan Park location will allow us to manufacture and supply to all national branches creating faster processes and the ability to scale up

Benefits
Hours of work - Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm and a half day Friday, 6:00am -12:00pm.
Up to 14 hours overtime available weekly, if desired by employee

Role
This role is for a Spray Painter, who has an interest in automotive / manufactured products. Working within a team and reporting directly to the Paint Team Leader, you will be required to paint, prep and QA our in- house manufactured products. These products include Toolboxes, Service Bodies, Truck Bodies, Vehicle Trays and an assortment of manufactured vehicle components. A keen eye for detail and desire for high quality finishes is a must.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Painting of jobs utilising 2K Paint
- Sanding and surface preparation of jobs
- Paint touch-up and QA
Requirements
- Report to Paint Team Leader with a Can-Do approach
- Have a positive attitude and work well within a team
- Understand and follow Safety Policies and Procedures
- The ability to work under pressure
- Reliability & punctuality
Qualifications & experience (Preferred but not essential)
- Experience as a spray painter (preferably in automotive, or industrial sectors).
- Painting and surface preparation experience an advantage
- Familiarity with airless spray guns, HVLP (high-volume, low-pressure) spray guns, or electrostatic painting.
- Knowledge of paint types, coatings, and surface preparation techniques.
