What we're looking for:

Events and Partnerships Lead
to join our team and take ownership of our events program and partnership initiatives.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading Australian B2B services company in a standalone role, where you'll have full responsibility for the strategy, planning, and execution of our events and corporate partnership activities.

You'll spend approximately
80% of your time managing a diverse calendar of events
— from large-scale conferences and flagship client functions to targeted roundtables and internal activations. The other
20% of your role will focus on supporting and growing our corporate partnerships
, ensuring they deliver value for both our business and our partners.

We're looking for someone who's hands-on, highly organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll work across multiple teams including Marketing, Sales, Client Services, and the Executive team, with plenty of autonomy and scope to make your mark.

What You'll Be Doing Events (80%)

  • Plan, manage and deliver high-impact events across Australia — end to end
  • Develop annual event calendars aligned with business priorities
  • Own event logistics: venue sourcing, supplier management, budgets, guest lists, production, and on-the-day coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximise event reach and engagement
  • Measure and report on event success, capturing ROI and insights

Partnerships (20%)

  • Manage a small portfolio of corporate partnerships and sponsorships
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships
  • Support partner activation through events and marketing opportunities
  • Ensure reporting, delivery, and value realisation of partnership agreements

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years' experience in event management, ideally in a B2B or professional services setting
  • Experience working on partnerships, sponsorships, or stakeholder engagement is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you're great with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organised, independent and comfortable working in a standalone role
  • Willing to travel interstate as required for event delivery

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a respected and growing Australian brand with a strong market presence
  • Own your function and have a real impact — no micromanagement here
  • Collaborative, down-to-earth culture where initiative is valued
  • Competitive salary + flexible working arrangements | 170,000 inc super on offer
  • Close to the Sydney CBD
