The Opportunity

We're currently seeking passionate and committed Chefs to join our Banquets team at Crown in both full-time and casual capacities.

As a Chef, you'll create joyful moments through genuine care and connection, guided by Crown's Service Excellence values — Be Courteous, Connect, Create, and Care — ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to elevated hospitality.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to deliver some of Australia's most prestigious events and dining experiences, including industry galas, corporate functions, private celebrations, and à la carte service across our award-winning restaurants.
  • Prepare and present a diverse range of hot and cold dishes across Crown's various food and beverage outlets.
  • Assist in the execution and plating of events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions of up to 1,500 guests, as well as high-end restaurant service.
  • Uphold food safety standards and demonstrate a sound understanding of HACCP protocols.

About You

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in high-volume catering, events, or restaurant service within a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
  • The ability to thrive in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
