Founded by a Clinical Psychologist, Tribal is a mission-driven social connection company,

combining Tribal Dating and Connect by Tribal to combat loneliness and help people build

meaningful relationships. Tribal was founded in response to the loneliness epidemic and to

improve social disconnection.

• Tribal Dating matches people on values, helping people find romantic partners

through personality, voice, and authenticity.

• Connect by Tribal is our friendship and community platform, designed to help

people make friends, join Community Circles, and feel less alone.

Loneliness is one of the biggest health challenges of our time - affecting 1 in 3 Australians

and with health impacts comparable to smoking 15 cigarettes a day. Our mission is to

change that by building a values-based ecosystem where connection and belonging are at

the core.

We've launched, built early traction, and are raising a pre-seed round to fuel growth. This is

an exciting opportunity to join at the ground floor of a purpose-driven tech startup.

About the Role

We're looking for a go-getter Operations Lead with startup experience (ideally SaaS or

consumer tech) who can take ownership of day-to-day operations and turn strategy into

execution.

While vision is important, we need someone equally strong at execution. You'll help identify

and run key projects, streamline systems, and use data and insights to guide product,

growth, and community decisions.

This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll be across many aspects of the business -

operations, data, product support, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Execution

• Identify and drive key projects that improve company efficiency, scale and growth

• Build, refine and document workflows, automations, and reporting systems

• Ensure smooth execution of campaigns, partnership activations, and events

• Support day-to-day business operations across multiple functions (marketing,

product, community)

Data & Insights

• Refine and interpret existing analytics (tracking already in place)

• Report on user behaviour, retention, funnels, and growth metrics

• Provide actionable insights that inform product roadmap, marketing, spend and strategy priorities

Partnerships & Growth

• Support the execution of partnership initiatives with universities, brands, and

community groups

• Help coordinate deliverables, track performance, and ensure alignment with Tribal's

mission

• Identify opportunities for new growth channels and collaborations

Founder & Strategic Support

• Act as a right-hand to the Founder, turning ideas into action and providing structure

for execution

• Prepare board packs, investor updates, and pre-seed fundraising materials

• Keep cross-functional projects on track and aligned with company goals, and well-

communicated

Customer & Product

• Monitor user feedback and surface insights that drive continuous improvement

• Coordinate with tech on bug fixes feature rollouts and quality assurance

• Help ensure the user experience reflects Tribal's values of authenticity and

connection

About You

• Experience in operations, business analysis, or strategy in a startup/SaaS

environment

• Proven ability to execute and deliver projects end-to-end
• Data-driven and comfortable with analytics tools

• A go-getter who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and loves solving problems

• Organised, proactive, and adaptable, equally comfortable in detail and strategy

• Bonus: experience in psychology, wellbeing, or social impact sectors
