The opportunityWe are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to support our client on their Power Plant station. This is a FIFO role (roster is flexible), for a duration of 12 months. 

What the role entails:

  • Provide technical expertise to ensure the maintenance department functions are adequately supported by coordinating all facets of reliability; including developing and utilizing appropriate processes and guidelines to achieve this objective.
  • Developing and documenting improved Asset Management strategies, systems and business processes.
  • Review current maintenance practices and procedures and identify areas for improving costs, efficiencies and productivity.
  • Provide professional Asset Management framework support, including Defect Elimination, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Preventative Maintenance Optimisation (PMO), Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis, and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).
  • Demonstration of an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development

What you will need:

  • Relevant engineering qualifications
  • Previous experience in the Heavy Industry
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Proven ability to successfully develop working relationships across all levels
  • Detail orientation, strong planning, organisational, scheduling and coordination skills
