The Role

As a Lead Educator, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and engaging learning environment for children. You will work closely with a team of educators to implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities that foster social, emotional, and cognitive development.

As an Educator, you will be responsible for working with the Lead Educator to deliver high quality care and education to a group of children.

As the ECT you will be primarily responsible for the delivery of the kindergarten program in accordance with the QKLF. This is achieved by:

  • Being responsible for management of the day-to-day operation of the kindergarten, including providing leadership and support to educators and staff within your team in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children.

Skills and Abilities required

  • Current First Aid Certificate including asthma and anaphylaxis training
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved equivalent) or working towards
