Are you a seasoned financial reporting professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic, ASX-listed environment?

IPH Limited is seeking an experienced Global Financial Reporting Manager to join our high-performing finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract, covering parental leave. The role is responsible for consolidated financial reporting to the Board of Directors, ELT, Shareholders, ASX, ASIC, ATO and Lenders.

Coming from a Big 4 Chartered Accounting Firm with experience in similar ASX environment, you will be the internal expert on Accounting Standards, ASX and ASIC Reporting requirements and Taxation.

Based in our Sydney office in Darling Harbour, you'll play a key role in our Group Finance function during a critical reporting period, including half-year end.

Some Key Responsibilities include:

  • Internal specialist for compliance with International and Australian Accounting Standards, Accounting Policies and Reporting Obligations
  • Preparation of Monthly consolidated group financial statements for Board of Directors and ELT
  • Preparation of ASX Appendix 4D and 4E
  • Preparation of Audited Financial Statements for Annual Report of IPH Limited and subsidiary companies (as required)
  • Assist the Group CFO with Preparation of Half Year and Full Year results presentations, and reports for the Board Audit and Risk Committee
  • Support Group Financial Controller on all corporate tax reporting and compliance matters including support the preparation of the consolidated Income Tax Return for Australian entities and oversight of preparation of returns for offshore entities
  • Support Group Financial Controller with Transfer pricing documentation and compliance
  • Support Group Financial Controller on FBT annual returns
  • Completion of BAS returns for IPH Limited and oversight of submissions by member firms for all indirect taxes

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting and CA qualification
  • Experience in similar role in an ASX environment delivering statutory reporting
  • Former Big 4 Chartered Accounting Firm experience with exposure to ASX listed clients, ideally from an Audit and Assurance background.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical accounting skills.
  • Keen attention to detail, thorough, accurate yet pragmatic and commercial.
  • Excellent time management and planning.
  • Ability to multi task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with D365 or similar financial management system is highly desirable.
