What you'll be doing
You'll work directly with clients and creditors to negotiate and resolve debt issues, remove or correct credit file listings, and help clients move forward with confidence.

In this role, you'll:

• Negotiate directly with creditors including banks, lenders and the ATO

• Work with credit providers to remove or amend default/adverse listings

• Analyse client credit files and financial statements

• Identify and action credit file corrections

• Support clients under financial stress with empathy, clarity and guidance

• Manage a varied caseload while meeting client outcomes and compliance obligations

What we're looking for
You'll bring a mix of technical know-how, communication savvy and heart. Ideally, you have:

• 3 years' experience in debt negotiation, credit mediation or credit control

• A solid understanding of credit reporting and credit legislation

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Confidence in managing creditor discussions and disputes

• High levels of empathy and the ability to guide people through stressful situations

• The ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
