About our school

St Patrick's is an integral part of the Our Lady Help of Christians Parish which encompasses the areas of Nanango, Yarraman, Blackbutt and Cooyar. A picturesque 2.5-hour drive from Brisbane, we are a co-educational primary school with an enrolment of approximately 70 students. Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for this School Senior Leadership position with the capability to support the Principal in:

  • building the religious life of the school and a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community;
  • growing the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and
  • building a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
  • For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
