Pro Shop Manager – World Gym Midland

You will contribute to the success of World Gym Midland.This is a very hands-on role and will see you leading from the front in all areas of retail customer service.

The role involves managing all aspects of the Pro Shop and Barbell Café, including retail sales, stock control, merchandising, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service. You will work closely with the Club Manager to meet retail targets and ensure an engaging and profitable retail environment. Previous retail management experience is essential, and fitness industry experience is highly desirable.

This position involves:

·       Leading and driving retail sales in the Pro Shop and Barbell Café

·       Managing inventory, stock levels, and ordering systems

·       Visual merchandising and maintaining an appealing retail layout

·       Training and supervising retail staff

·       Creating and maintaining supplement and product knowledge

·       Monitoring and reporting on KPIs and sales targets

·       Making quality protein shakes to recipe

·       Upselling and cross-promoting gym services and products

·       Ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment

What we are looking for:

·       Proven experience in retail and stock management

·       Leadership and team management experience

·       Strong understanding of retail sales and merchandising

·       Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

·       Passion for nutrition, health, and fitness

·       Previous experience in the fitness or supplement industry desirable

·       Highly organised with attention to detail

·       Customer service focused with strong communication skills
