Mentor - Employment Support Worker

Your Impact:
As a part time or casual Mentor - Employment Support Worker, you will play a key role:
- Provide services to people with disabilities with individual packages of support funded via the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Disability Services Commission or other funding sources.
- Provide high quality, person-centered support that empowers individuals to grow their capacity for independence.
- Deliver an excellent customer service experience.
- Support the Good Sammy purpose: 'To create meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with disabilities.'
What you'll do:
- Assist participants to meet their individual goals related to services and supports provided within the Good Sammy Mentors Team.
- Work with people with disabilities, their families and other stakeholders to deliver services that optimise outcomes for people with a disability.
- Contribute to a strong customer service culture within the team, for both internal and external stakeholders.
Please note that this role would require travel to Perth Metro Locations across Northern and Southern suburbs.

What you'll bring:
- Experience and competency in supporting people with disabilities.
- Flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changing work situations and service provision demands.
- Able to deliver high quality support to people with disabilities
- An effective listener and persuader, with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to relate and work positively with people of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Post-secondary qualification in relevant area (Desirable) or significant relevant experience.
- Western Australia's Driver's license with own vehicle and comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
