Northern Star Mining Services are seeking experienced Electrical Communications Technicians at our KCGM operations. 7/7 roster, Kalgoorlie Residential or FIFO from Perth.

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Electrical Communications Technicians to install and maintain underground network infrastructure, providing technical support, installation and commissioning of communications equipment and new technology,

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Electrical Communications Technician
  • Location: Mount Charlotte & Fimiston Operations - Kalgoorlie
  • Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in radio communications, telemetry networks and maintenance in surface and underground mining environment

Qualifications:

  • WA "A" Class Electrical Workers License - Highly Desirable
  • Current manual C Class Driver's License
  • Working at heights certificate
  • Open cabling ticket with fibre endorsement, structured cabling and coaxial is desirable
