The Apollo Restaurant is looking for a Sous Chef. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Potts Point, NSW.

They will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Work across all sections of the kitchen, from cooking over fire to pastry and larder sections
  • Work with the head chef on the creation and implementation and development of new dishes
  • Train junior team members to the Apollo standard
  • Stock ordering and regular stock-takes
  • Works with head chef to maintain kitchen organisation, staff ability, and training opportunities
  • Leads kitchen team in head chef's absence
  • Schedules staff shifts
  • Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:
  • 3 years minimum experience required and experience
  • Relevant Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma;
  • Experience in Greek cuisine a plus not essential
Salary: $80,000-90,000 per annum + 12% super
