Your role
The Project Officer, Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability supports the planning and delivery of strategic projects and initiatives that build organisational capability across infrastructure planning, asset management, sustainability, the transition to net zero, climate risk management and security. The role works collaboratively across teams to coordinate activities, support innovation and contribute to practical outcomes that align with DCJ and NSW Government priorities.
What you'll do
The role provides coordination, research and analytical support across a portfolio of strategic and operational projects. It contributes to project planning, implementation and reporting, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
The Project Officer assists with the preparation of reports, briefings and advice for senior stakeholders, supports engagement across DCJ and other agencies, and helps identify risks, opportunities and improvements to strengthen project outcomes. The work involves balancing multiple priorities, applying sound judgement and maintaining effective communication within a dynamic environment.
