***About the role**
Within our Environment and Social portfolio we are seeking to recruit a Project Officer with experience and interest, in strategic planning, advocacy and strategy project management relating to local government, the environment and social resilience.

The Environment and Social portfolio sits within the City Strategy Team; a multi-disciplinary team, with an agile operating model, which ensures we can target a strategic and prioritised response to the City’s opportunities and challenges. This position is suited to those who have experience in city-shaping projects and are accustomed to fast-paced working environments where priorities and work programming can change quickly. The team consists of multi-disciplinary professionals from a range of backgrounds to better enable City Strategy to support the broad needs of our community.

The Project Officer will work collaboratively to assist and support the strategic development and delivery of major projects and strategic programs within City Strategy, in a way consistent with Council’s values of customer focus, innovation, teamwork and integrity. - Experience with strategy, multidisciplinary teams and delivering to a high standard to meet organisational and city needs.
- Project management skills and experience, including effective project planning, management of budgets and contracts.
- Exceptional ability to communicate, negotiate, build relationships and influence others with an engaging approach and technique.

**What’s on offer**
We are offering an attractive total remuneration starting from $103,763.38 - $114,242.08 (salary + super).
