Allora College is a well-established RTO based in East Brisbane, with over 15 years of experience delivering Automotive training to apprentices and trainees, combining theory with hands-on, workplace training to ensure students are job-ready and confident in their skills.

If you are passionate about Heavy Vehicles and/or Auto Electrical work and ready to pass on your knowledge to the next generation? We're on the lookout for a motivated Trainer/Assessor to join our team

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary that reflects your qualifications and experience.

What you'll be doing:
  • Training and mentoring apprentices and trainees in their workplaces
  • Delivering engaging, practical learning experiences to make a positive impact
  • Using your industry know-how to support learners in achieving their qualifications
  • Managing your own schedule with a good level of autonomy
  • Keeping things on track with administration and compliance tasks (yes, we all have them, but we keep it manageable)
What we're looking for:
  • Trade-qualified with a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology and/or Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
  • Currency of knowledge and skill
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willing to obtain the qualification within the first 6 months)
  • A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and guiding learners on their career journey
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable style
  • Some experience working with or for an RTO is a bonus.
