This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary that reflects your qualifications and experience.
What you'll be doing:- Training and mentoring apprentices and trainees in their workplaces
- Delivering engaging, practical learning experiences to make a positive impact
- Using your industry know-how to support learners in achieving their qualifications
- Managing your own schedule with a good level of autonomy
- Keeping things on track with administration and compliance tasks (yes, we all have them, but we keep it manageable)
- Trade-qualified with a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology and/or Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Currency of knowledge and skill
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willing to obtain the qualification within the first 6 months)
- A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and guiding learners on their career journey
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable style
- Some experience working with or for an RTO is a bonus.
