About the Role

As a Yard Hand, you'll play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our yard and depot. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe loading and unloading of freight
  • Operating forklifts to move and organise freight and equipment
  • Assisting with general yard duties and housekeeping
  • Supporting drivers and operations with day-to-day requirements
  • Following all safety and compliance procedures

About You

  • Current forklift licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics yard (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Physically fit and reliable with a positive attitude
